Christmas Tree Drop Off

Recycle Your Live Tree To Be Mulched. Drop off Christmas trees for recycling Dec. 26 through Jan. 21, and help us make mulch to give away in the spring. There will be a self-service trailer next to the garden center where trees may be unloaded. *Flocked and artificial trees cannot be mulched and will not be accepted. Free for Mansfield residents.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off

The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Bilingual Story Time

Children 3-6 years old, both English and Spanish speakers with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes in both English and Spanish. This story time fosters emergent literacy, reinforces group listening skills and allows children to become familiar with a second language. Registration is required.

Chess Club

Learn how to play chess or just brush up on your skills. All ages and levels welcome. Chess club occurs every Thursday of the month from 6-7pm.

Yoga for Adults

Have you ever wanted to try yoga but felt you didn't know where to start? Well look no further, we have an all-levels yoga class just for you! We will learn first how to breathe and then we will develop strength and flexibility by moving through gentle poses. This class will focus on alignment, balance, and mindfulness. No prior yoga experience is needed. Program is FREE. Please make sure to bring your own yoga mats for this program.
