Veterans Day Parade and Salute

The City of Mansfield is proud to honor its veterans with a parade and patriotic salute each year. Join us as we celebrate these brave men and women in a community-wide recognition of their sacrifice.

2021 Mansfield Veterans Day Parade and Salute

Date: Saturday, Nov. 6 
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Historic Downtown Mansfield

This year's parade will be held in Historic Downtown Mansfield. The route will begin at St. Jude Catholic Church and follow a similar path as the Pickle Parade and other downtown events. Grab a seat anywhere along Broad Street between Waxahachie and Main streets, Smith Street between Broad and Oak streets, or Main Street between Oak and Dallas streets. 

At the conclusion of the parade, join us on Main Street in front of The LOT Downtown for a patriotic salute ceremony.

Remembering Our Fallen Traveling Veterans Memorial

Dates: Friday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 7
Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Location: The LOT Downtown, 110 S. Main St.

The Mansfield Veterans Memorial and Tribute Foundation is proud to bring the Remembering Our Fallen Traveling Memorial to The LOT Downtown. This photographic war memorial features 34 tribute towers that honor more than 5,000 veterans who have lost their lives since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. 

Visual Legacies: Veterans Art Show

Gallery opening date: Tuesday, Nov. 9
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: Farr Best Theater, 109 N. Main St.

The Art Station in Fort Worth (a 501(c)(3) corporation) is pairing up with the Mansfield Commission for the Arts to for a six-week, arts-based community project, designed to help the public understand what it is like to live as a veteran in our community. Through the use of guided art activities, veteran participants will create a visual legacy that helps describe their process integrating back into the community after serving as part of our military. Work created in this program will be displayed for a special art show at Farr Best Theater. More information can be found here

A Salute to Service with the Fort Worth Songwriters Association 

Date: Tuesday, Nov. 9
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Farr Best Theater, 109 N. Main St.

Celebrate our brave men and women with a moving evening of patriotic music performed by members of the Fort Worth Songwriters Association – all of whom happen to be veterans themselves. This event is free for veterans of the armed forces. Tickets can be purchased here, and more information about the event can be found here
