Water & Environmental Public Education
Water and Environmental classes are offered to teach residents about the importance of conserving and protecting water, our most precious resource. All classes and workshops are free to Mansfield residents and are either held virtually or at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center.
Class Schedule and Educational Resources
We offer a variety of virtual and in-person classes and events. There are a variety of ways to learn about water conservation and how to take care of the environment:

- Check out the water and environment event calendar for classes, special events and important dates.
- SaveTarrantWater.com offers free virtual classes covering topics such as family friendly gardening, selecting the perfect turf, rainwater harvesting, herb gardening and more. You can also watch recent virtual classes on the Save Tarrant Water YouTube Channel.
- The Mansfield Public Library also hosts online challenges for ages 8+ about recycling and water conservation.
Customizable Education Opportunities
The Water and Environmental Education team can provide customizable education experiences for:
- Civic groups
- Home school parents
- Public and private school classes
- Scout leaders
- Any others interested in learning more about conservation and protection of our water
