Collection Center
The City of Mansfield's Environmental Collection Center (ECC) accepts residential collection of household hazardous waste, and also provides recycling for residents who do not receive curbside collection.
Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
Residents may dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) such as aerosol cans, paint, cleaning products and electronic at the ECC on the second Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. Proof of residency is required.
Business, commercial and industrial waste will not be accepted for drop off at the ECC in accordance with regulations set for by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality

Reuse Room
A Help YourShelf Reuse room is available at the ECC. Used paint, chemicals and cleaners in like-new condition are offered free of charge to Mansfield residents with proof of residency. Availability of materials for reuse is not guaranteed and is offered on a first-come basis.
If you are interested in these free materials, stop by during the monthly HHW drop-off events. If you have a product that is still usable, bring it to the ECC instead of throwing it away.
Chunk Your Junk Day & Shred Days
The ECC offers Chunk Your Junk & Shred days twice a year in the spring and fall. Residents can dispose of bulky items that cannot be left at the curb for regular trash collection, and documents for shredding free of charge. Proof of residency is required.
