Voting By Mail

Voting ballot graphicYou may only vote by mail in Texas if any of the following conditions apply to you:

  1. You are age 65 or older;
  2. You have a disability;
  3. You expect to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day;
  4. You expect to be out of the country during both the early voting period and on Election Day; or
  5. You are confined in jail (not finally convicted of a felony) or are involuntarily confined.

An application for a ballot by mail is available online at https://www.sos.texas.gov/elections/voter/reqabbm.shtml. Print and complete the form, then mail it to the early voting clerk in your county.

Some county early voting clerks offer the option to submit early voting applications by email. Because Mansfield is located in three counties, Mansfield residents should contact their county's election office for more information.
