- Online Permit Application & Plan Review
The online permitting system is a combination of web-based (Online Portal) applications integrated with the electronic plan review (ePlans ProjectDox) which allows self-service capabilities for various permitting, plan review, payment activities and offers applicants the convenience to check the status of their projects online at any time in addition to saving travel and printing costs.
Single trade building permits such as plumbing, electrical or mechanical can be submitted via the city’s online MyGov system.
Irrigation plans must be submitted to Zac Urbanski, Irrigation Inspector. After plans are approved the information is entered into the system, where the irrigation contractor can log in to their online portal and pay for the permit online.
Users can create a one-time-only account, and fill out an online commercial or residential building permit application by electronically entering information on an online form. After basic information about the scope of work and permit application is provided, the permit staff will verify the information and address and assess any application fees. Once fees are paid and the application is completed, users can upload the minimum submittal requirements for a review.
Users can upload project plans and supporting materials, view and receive project corrections, and track project status. The staff of different disciplines can review the same set of plans concurrently, thereby reducing processing times.
