Programs

Teen Advisory Group

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a member led library program for teens 13 years to 17 years old. Come hang out with snacks, activities, and help plan library programming.

Meetings

Normal TAG meetings occur every Third Thursday of the month from 5-6 p.m.  Meeting dates are subject to change, see the library calendar at mansfieldtexas.gov/calendar for specific TAG meeting dates.

Starting in September 2023, TAG will move the meeting dates to every Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. Members are not required to attend weekly and may arrive anytime after 4 p.m.

Communication

TAG uses the private communication platform Discord to communicate among members. TAG members must be 13 years of age in order to create a Discord account.

Volunteer

If teens would like to earn volunteer hours for helping to plan library programs, email the Mansfield Public Library Volunteer Coordinator, Alison Sexton, at alison.sexton@mansfieldtexas.gov. Volunteering is optional.
