Baby Story Time - Summer
Fridays at 10:30-11 a.m.
Babies 0 to 18 Months with a Caregiver or Parent
Enjoy Baby Story Time back in-person with a smaller, socially distant class size. Come enjoy books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes. Baby Story Time introduces babies to books, builds early literacy and listening skills and allows children to interact with others.
Story Time for Tots
Tuesdays at 10:30-11 a.m.
Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver
Come enjoy books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes. Story Time for Tots introduces toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. It introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others.
Bilingual Story Time
Mondays at 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 3 to 6 with a caregiver
Enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, fingerplays and rhymes in both English and Spanish. This story time fosters emergent literacy, reinforces group listening skills and allows children to become familiar with a second language. Please see the city calendar to register.
Homeschool Art Club
Second Thursday of the month at 12:30 p.m. between September and May. There is no Homeschool Art Club in the summer.
School-aged children
Come learn about an artist, their techniques and participate in a hands on art project. Homeschool Art Club is open to all school-age children. Each program requires registration that opens two weeks prior to the event. Please see the city calendar to register.
Listener's Story Time
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. between September and May. There is no Listener's Story Time in the summer.
Children ages 3 to 6 with a caregiver
Come enjoy books, songs, sign language, rhymes and crafts. Listener’s Story Time fosters emergent literacy, reinforces group listening skills, creativity and allows children to interact with others.
Chess Club
Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. in the middle of the library
Learn how to play or just brush up on your skills during Chess Club. All skill levels are welcome. No registration required.
